I build software for living, and I've been doing it for a long time.
I made my first websites in 2004, typing everything by hand in Microsoft Notepad. What started as a hobby slowly turned into a career.
Me, caught programming after Taekwondo practice by my mom, 2004.
Over the last ten years, I've built and shipped software used by millions of people.
How Taimli started
In June 2025, the company I was working for was struggling, and my team got laid off. After working for well over a decade, I decided to take the summer off and enjoy the Estonian sun.
One summer day, I was having coffee with a friend, who has owned and worked at several beauty salons in Tallinn.
My friend casually mentioned how salon software is expensive and bloated for someone like her who only works part-time.
The must-have features for the initial version of Taimli, based on my friend's feedback, in Estonian.
I started writing the problems and must-have features down. By the end of our coffee, I told her I'll make her something more affordable and better.
After a few months of building and feedback, Taimli was born.

Pricing that respects your margins
Software shouldn't be your biggest overhead. Just because we could charge you a lot more, doesn't mean that we should.

We'd rather do a few things really well than build a bloated mess with 500 features you'll never use.
